Visa requirements

4th CEE Citizens Network Conference and its organisers Welcome and Invite as participants people from Central and Eastern Europe, Europe, USA and as from other regions as well as representatives of European structures.

* Nationals of some countries – all from Eastern Europe and some others – need to have a VISA to enter the Estonia, member of European Union. All participants and delegates from these countries must apply for the visa in one of Estonia's Representations around the world, Embassies and Consulates. Information on specific country requirements can be obtained from any Embassy or Consulate of Republic of Estonia, or from the website of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at http://www.vm.ee/eng.

* There are differences for visa applying process and entering Estonia at conference case for people who stay in Estonia for five days or less than five days and for whom who want to be in Estonia longer than five days. All information to first of them (who stay in Estonia for five days or less than five days) is available from the website of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at http://www.vm.ee/eng. All information to second group of them (who stay in Estonia longer than five days) is available from the websites of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs at http://www.vm.ee/eng and Citizenship and Migration Board (Estonia) at http://www.mig.ee/eng.

* Participants who stay in Estonia for five days or less than five days need only visa and can apply directly in the nearest to you Estonia's Representation, Embassy and Consulate. You apply on the base of materials sent by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the nearest to you Estonia's Representation, fixed and informed before by you in your Conference Registration Form B and letter of EMÜ Sihtasutus / Estonian NGO Roundtable Foundation and Estonian Organising Committee of 4th CEE Citizens Network Conference to the ministry. We will send this application letter to the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its Consular Department for the registered delegates and participants who have sent within fixed time the Registration Form B and participate as member of Delegations of Members of CEE Citizens Network and/or have paid their registration fee and who require visas to enter the Estonia that will assist all bona fide applicants and participants to travel to the 4th CEE Citizens Network Conference. Each delegate and participant will provide chosen by him or her Estonia's Representation, Embassy or Consulate, with background info on the 4th CEE Citizens Network Conference, Invitation, Programme, etc. and will therefore prepare expecting applications.

* Participants who want to be in Estonia longer than five days need visa and before it official visa invitation and finally can apply in the nearest to you Estonia's Representation, Embassy and Consulate, on the base of visa invitation submitted by legal person under private law. You apply then on the base of official visa invitation by EMÜ Sihtasutus / Estonian NGO Roundtable Foundation and sent to you number of visa invitation. We will apply for the visa invitation at the Citizenshipand Migration Board (Estonia) for the registered delegates and participants who have sent within fixed time the Registration Form B and participate as member of Delegations of Members of CEE Citizens Network and/or have paid their registration fee and who require visas to enter the Estonia that will assist all bona fide applicants to travel to the 4th CEE Citizens Network Conference. Each delegate and participant will provide chosen by him or her Estonia's Representation, Embassy or Consulate, with background info on the 4th CEE Citizens Network Conference, Invitation, Programme, etc. and will therefore prepare expecting applications.

Unfortunately, as visas are issued at the discretion of individual officers in Estonian diplomatic mission across the world, there is no centralised facility to guarantee universal approval. However, we will endeavour to advise and assist any delegates and participants who experience difficulty in obtaining the necessary travel permission, and we shall work here closely with the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Citizenshipand Migration Board (Estonia) to minimise difficulties.
